Show Coaching, Riding, & Horsemanship Instruction

Whether you're stepping into the show pen for the first time or looking to refine the partnership between you and your horse, I bring 35+ years of riding and 10 years of dedicated instruction to every session. My approach draws on classical and natural horsemanship principles, tailored to your goals and your horse's needs.

$60 Introductory Rate — includes travel within the Rio Linda/Elverta area. Additional mileage fee applies for other areas.

Foundational Training Based on Classical & Natural Horsemanship

  • English dressage

Show Coaching & Ringside Support

  • Warm-up guidance and pre-class coaching
  • Test and pattern strategy
  • Ringside presence and between-class support
  • Multi-discipline experience: dressage, western pleasure, trail, English pleasure

Groundwork & Conditioning

  • Lunging for fitness, relaxation, and obedience
  • Long-lining for straightness, bend, and collection
  • Natural horsemanship groundwork
  • Straightness training exercises

  • USDF Bronze Medalist
  • 10 years as a riding instructor — all ages & levels
  • 35+ years across multiple disciplines
  • USDF L Program Auditor (Sessions A, B & C)
  • 36 USDF educational credits including Instructor/Trainer Program Workshop
  • Clinics with internationally recognized biomechanics & centered riding specialists
  • Natural horsemanship & groundwork training
  • Straightness training study
  • Masterson Method bodywork training
